It’s been a little while since we have been in touch, but rest assured, we have not gone away. We have been extremely busy creating a SEQUEL to our film INFINITE POTENTIAL – The Life and Ideas of David Bohm, and a new film on Bohm’s dialogic route to new perception and Consciousness. But let’s just park all that for now, as we will be bringing you a full update in our upcoming mailouts over the coming months. Lots to look forward to!
For now, we just want to say how very excited we are to announce that our friends at The Pari Center in Italy, foremost promoter of David Bohm’s philosophy and work, are pleased to welcome you to the third summer season of BEYOND BOHM 2023. Curated and chaired by Lee Nichol, longtime colleague of David Bohm and editor of many of Bohm’s writings, this series will focus on themes such as CONSCIOUSNESS, BOHM’S HOLOFLUX, DIALOGUE and what WESTERN SCIENCE CAN’T TELL US ABOUT THE NATURE OF REALITY.
Sessions start Sunday July 16th and continue over three weekends to July 30th.

Now in its third year, Beyond Bohm aims to use multiple aspects of David Bohm’s work as jumping-off points for ongoing inquiry and experiential probings. We are especially happy with this year’s offerings, and are honored to have more than 30 guest participants for Part 1 (July 16 – 30).
Our first weekend will open up significant new territory while exploring perennial questions regarding meaning, consciousness, dialogue, and the nature of experience. While organicism, panpsychism, and temporal flux are marbled throughout the work of David Bohm, further perspectives – particularly those of Henri Bergson and Alfred North Whitehead – are brought to bear in our opening session. The following day, Dr. Rupert Sheldrake brings his own unique perspective to some of these process-oriented questions, asking, “Is the Sun Conscious?”
Our second weekend puts forth multiple perspectives regarding Bohm’s proposals about holoflux and holomovement. These concepts – and what they imply – are foundational for any experiential sense of Bohm’s overall metaphysics. The various perspectives shared across two sessions draw from years of experimentation with the relevance of this aspect of Bohm’s work, within the actual movement of daily life.
Our third weekend is a bounty of dialogue. The group of ten women partaking in the Saturday session collectively bring hundreds of years of experience with various dialogical modes. The following day, Blackfoot elder Leroy Little Bear and multiple guests will once again share with us Leroy’s unique approach to dialogue, rooted in indigenous world views and sensibilities.
